ABOUT US

College concierges are a growing trend across the United States, offering a unique service to students and their families. These services are designed to provide a local support system for students, particularly those living far from home.

Campus Mom concierges offer a wide range of services. We do everything from celebrating birthdays and recommending local doctors, to finding wheelchairs for visiting grandparents. We essentially act as a local family friend, providing assistance when needed.

However, it’s important to note that these services are not meant to interfere with the students’ independence. Campus Moms do not perform tasks like washing clothes, or ironing sheets. Our goal is to provide support and peace of mind for parents, without getting in the way of the students’ personal growth.

While some experts have raised concerns about the potential for these services to hinder students’ development of critical life skills, we know from experience that a little help with logistics and a sense of being “home away from home” is priceless.

Founded in 2022 by Eden Lord, a mom of four and professor with over 20 years of experience in higher education, Campus Moms is designed to be your backup when your child is away at school. From assisting with move-in day to helping with research for internships and post-grad pathways, we are here to support families from freshman year to graduation.
